Verify your Account
The verification of your account is a process known as “Know Your Customer” (KYC) and it is used to verify the identity of our clients, in order to avoid: Identity Theft, Financial Fraud, Money Laundering, among others. This process is necessary to increase the money operation limits in your account. There are 3 Levels, which must be fulfilled from 1 to 3 going through different requirements.
Level 1 Requirements:
The only requirement is verifying your cellphone number on which you will receive an SMS or call, and a mail at which you will be welcomed and you will receive your ID number.
Level 2 Requirements:
The system requires an official identification or passport, and proof of residency not older than 3 months. To load the documents in our verification system, click on the document and select the digitalization method that you will use, you can take a picture and upload it to the platform or you can use your Webcam to capture your documents. At Bitso we recommend uploading images of your documents saved on your computer in color previously taken with your cellphone or digital camera, since by using the Webcam errors may occur due to its resolution.
It is also required to have conducted trades for at least $ 5000.00 MXN and to have funded your account at least once by means of a transfer through SPEI.
The verification of your account will be approved in a few minutes, you will receive a confirmation e-mail, and with your verified account you may fully use the Bitso platform.
Level 3 Requirements:
In order to request moving up to Level 3, it is necessary to take a help ticket from our Help Center, selecting the options "Account Verification " > "Level 3" > and the subcategories that work best for your request.
You will receive an e-mail with the necessary requirements.
Upon sending these requirements, one of our agents will follow up on your ticket within 24 to 48 hours, keeping you informed of the progress of your request.
