1) To fund your Bitso account with cash through Oxxo Pay, click on the "Fund" icon. Remember to always be at the MXN section. 



2) If you are using Bitso Web, select the option “Deposit cash”. If you are using Bitso App, select the option “Fund at Oxxo”. You will be provided with an Oxxo Pay number.


THE FEE FOR THIS TYPE OF FUNDING IS 2.6 % + TAX, BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF THE DEPOSIT. THIS WILL BE SUBTRACTED FROM THE TOTAL DEPOSIT. ADDITIONALLY, OXXO CHARGES A 10 MXN FEE. THESE FEES MAY CHANGE WITH NO PREVIOUS NOTICE.



3) Go to your nearest Oxxo store and tell the cashier that you will make an Oxxo Pay. Give the cashier your Oxxo Pay number and pay him or her in cash. The deposit will appear in your Bitso account in less than an hour. If you have Bitso App, you can also ask the cashier to simply scan the bar code. 



YOUR OXXO PAY ACCOUNT NUMBER IS UNIQUE, PERSONAL, AND PERMANENT. YOU CAN MAKE CASH DEPOSITS IN ANY OXXO STORE AT ANY TIME. THESE IMAGES ARE ONLY EXAMPLES.

DO NOT FORGET TO KEEP YOUR TICKET. THIS IS THE ONLY DOCUMENT WITH WHICH YOU WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE A CLAIM IF NECESSARY.

Do not forget to keep your payment receipt in case for any question or clarification.


                                                               


Tips for a Succesful Deposit

1) Remember to verify your name before paying the Oxxo cashier—your name must coincide with the name registered in your Bitso account. 

2) At the Oxxo store, make sure that the reference on their computer screen reads “Bitso”. 

3) Your account number will appear on your ticket, next to the word “Llave” or “Referencia”.

4) All tickets must display the following information:

  • Branch office: “Sucursal”

  • Reference: “Referencia/Llave”

  • Amount: “Monto”

  • Payment method: “Tipo de pago”
