To deactivate your Bitso account, you will be required to provide personal information such as:
-Official ID on both sides.
-Proof of address not older than 3 months.
-Selfie (self-portrait) holding your official identification.
You will also be asked a series of personal questions, such as:
What is the reason or motive for closing your account?
What is your full name?
What is your user ID? What is your birth date?
What is the approximate balance that you have in your account, BTC and MXN?
What is the last method that you used to fund your account, and for what amount?
What is the last method that you used to withdraw funds from your account, and for what amount?
What is the cellphone number that you used to open the account?
This process is irreversible and the information associated to this account may not be used again to open a new account in the future.
Remember that if you intend to change your "Official Name" it is not necessary to close your account to do so, we can help you to change it manually; it is also not necessary to do so if you did not use a link from your referrer to open your account.
Please contact us by getting a help ticket from our Help Center, selecting the "Account Closure" option. You will immediately receive a confirmation e-mail, indicating that we are following up your ticket.
Upon sending these requirements, one of our agents will follow up your ticket within a period of 24 to 48 hours, keeping you informed on the progress of your request.
